30 LRA RETURNEES IN NORTHERN UGANDA GRADUATES IN VOCATIONAL DISCIPLINES

30 students were passed out with vocational academic discipline in the departments of Tailoring, carpentry and joinery from Terra Renaissance 5th Graduation ceremony in Gulu.
These 30students who were mostly former Lord Resistance Army abductees underwent a full one year practical course in Tailoring, carpentry and joinery

Geoffrey Kinyera a parent in the school appealed to the school management to increase the numbers of beneficiaries of their program from 30 to 60 yearly if possible  so that it help in collective fighting of poverty in the community today basing of the practical knowledge they will exhibit when passed out.

Christine Angom female parents’ representatives urged the beneficiaries to always love what they do and put God first in their endeavors

Vicky Adoch a beneficiary in Tailoring department narrates that she came to the school while also thinking of her children she left at home but she continued and now hope that the skill she learnt will help her be self-reliance and financially stable.

Jimmy Otema Fred the head office director Terra Renaissance Gulu says they always register few beneficiaries because their target is to train the few who can change the world than training many who cannot deliver the best.

John Okwonga  Gulu districts speaker the chief guest at the function says as Gulu district they will always remain committed to give a hand on to Terra Renaissance in case they needs assistance from the government

Terra Renaissance has so far been able to graduate over 4000 students and most of them are already reaping big out from what they learnt.

BOBI WINE'S CONSULTATION MEETING BLOCKED IN GULU

The consultation meeting for the people power party president his excellency Robert Kyagulanyi was again blocked in Gulu town as heavy police and army was deployed in town and at the covenant where the meeting was supposed to take place.   Komakech Jimmy-Gulu   Gulu city menstrual hygiene run is advancing with partners calling for more people and agencies to joint in and support the young girls combat menstrual poverty in Gulu city.   Courtesy event photo for the marathon   Prudence Monica Apiyo – The executive director Her Worth foundation and secretary female youth affair Gulu city council says that they are putting up calls to everyone to come on board to support the crusade weather individually or as a partner.
